Must See -- The Aquabats! Super Show

I was just recently introduced to a show that is 20% cooler! It is called The Aquabats! Super Show.  It is about a band of 5 kooky-cool dudes who fight monsters and evil creatures. The Aquabats! are a real band from Southern California -- their music rocks! I can't wait to see them in concert.

The Aquabats Super Show might just be the funniest show I have ever seen! This campy, clever, and charmingly geeky show pays homage to the funky children's shows of my parent's generation -- think H.R. Pufn'stuf  meets Thunderbirds Are Go.

The Aquabats, a team of superhero musicians, clad in spandex and neoprene, consists of five members:

First, there is The MC Bat Comander. He is my favorite character, and probably the funniest.

Next, we have Crash McLarson. He is very emotional, and can grow to a towering size when he gets too worked up.

Eaglebones Falconhawk, is a bit Pee-Wee-Hermanesque and plays an awesome laser-shooting guitar.

Then, there is Ricky Fitness. He never eats anything sweet, has braces, and has supersonic speed.

Lastly, there is Jimmy the Robot. He is a half man –half robot, and very good at science.

One of my favorite features of the Aquabats! Super Show is their fake commercials.  This one for "High Tides" is one of the best:
